Hi @PeachyTips if you run the below javascript command in chrome, it should prompt the audio to run through both channels. You can run it by adding it as a bookmark, refreshing the page, then select the bookmark. It's useful to have for some vids/mp3's when browsing the web. javascript:c=new%20AudioContext(),v=document.getElementsByTagName('video'),a=c.createMediaElementSource(v[0]);c.destination.channelCount=1;a.connect(c.destination);void(null);

Very interesting and I can see exactly what you are trying to achieve, it makes me chuckle when you say these minis are so tiny, I paint and collect 6mm and have similar troops painted in the 3 ranks on a 60mm wide frontage and I only painted the front rank shields (no point wasting time on 24 minis you aint going see. I am tempted by these figures, as I like the format. I would probably use a very similar technique as you but I don't mind spending that bit longer making some of the details pop, definitely worth it considering how little time spent on the priming and base coats. Wash is your best friend at this scale too - even at 6mm a wash makes a huge difference to to finished effect. Many thanks for putting this video together, it's obviously taken time and energy. Your finished models do look more than acceptable for the purposes of table top gaming. Cheers

I've said it once and I'll say it again - you are forever one of the goats (that's a compliment, remember) for showing me how to speed up army painting by using cohesive colours that can benefit from a single all over wash. You're the sole reason my Tyranids went from grey to painted instead of sitting on sprues for years. Kudos to you, sir.

Thanks Peachy!!! Loving the variety and 'hobby showcase' of this channel :D I dig paint guides like these, that are "quick and dirty" (for lack of a better term) from painters I know can do the super clean GW style - as it showcases / normalizes more casual painting. It sounds silly, but with so much out there teaching everyone to clean up mistakes, perfectly layer, and edge highlight, the pressure mounts to "paint well" even for models no one else will typically see! Just a great demonstration of how a different approach can be used to great effect, for awesome results.

I have seen a number of vids where they left the figures on the sprue for the obvious gain in painting them. However, I saw a couple of guys clip off the side sprue and trim prior to painting so that there was no tidy up required once the paint job was complete. The figures were fairly well secured by the sprue attachments at the base. One lad was doing the British infantry in the Warlord Epic Napoleonics.
