My friend, you were born to sell property. You genuinely love what you do, don't you. I'm a retired Canadian, and have been searching online for a property in Italy, and you present so well, concise and with joy and humor. I will be contacting you, when I am ready to buy. Thank you for being such a pleasure while shopping for real estate. From an old Canadian hippy, cheers.

This is the sort of video that helps me get to work in a better mood tomorrow... thinking I only have ten or fifteen years before I can really be making plans for a place like this. Making friends with the neighbors, laughing at my clumsy Italian as it improves. Learning to make great tomato sauce to put in beer bottles. Making cider to take to the neighbors. Making a sourdough starter. Having fresh produce. Maybe getting a scooter to buzz around town. Visiting archeological digs. Maybe B&B-ing for English-speaking tourists and sharing the great local area with them. The views and birdsong made me wish I were there to just sit and stare and listen for a few hours without moving. I would be tempted to knock a few partitions (non-lead-bearing internal walls) through to make rooms that are more comfortably proportioned, and work from there. Some of these places have garden space or allotment, and I wonder if aquaculture would be a neat little sideline. You know, enough to keep my busy and inventing and maybe have some nice produce to share with the neighbors. Anyway, thanks for the dream value I get each day from these.

As to not liking the apartments, you would be living in lala lane if you bought into one of these adorable stacked cities you would have to expect to have a multifamily unit within sight. Quirky is a good word for this place; it’s a hodgepodge of Lon narrow rooms stacked around one or two oversized rooms. Yes, it needs some fiddling but you could make it your. Especially with a start like this. It could be a real gem.

Having flashbacks to my grandparents 1970's era farmhouse lol. Videos like this open my mind to all sorts of possibilities. I like the idea of the large room upstairs being the kitchen. I'd go a step farther and incorporate the bedroom next to it and make a roomy open kitchen/diner/lounge so all could access the terraces. In the basement a workshop/hobby area/summer kichen with storage for all the fresh fruit and veggies I'll be canning. Any ideas on how to squeeze in another bedroom downstairs without using the entry which in my heart is the perfect sunny sitting room?

Funny but I like the place. Are those frosted windows or ones that need replaced due to moisture? One could live downstairs and the steps leading up could be a seperate space to rent perhaps. It does have potential. A lot of work with ceiling and paneling, bathroom, painting interior / exterior (?), appliances, powerwashing, shore up wrought iron railing / sandblast /paint or just replace, securing it and terraces. Not sure who takes everything out, but that is a lot of work on its own. I see huge potential but timely. Gosh nice!
