I have a 2016 Triumph Rocket III, engine and transmission built by Bob Carpenter Racing. It has 260hp. and 190ft/lbs at the rear tire, and highly customized. About a $45,000 investment, but I still want the new 2024 Black GT! Nice lineup Triumph!

Dang, that's a lot of power. 🙂

Some manufacturers use a 5 speed when a high torque low rpm motor is matched to it. Since quarter mile times are not important, and these engines are generally short shifted- they feel 5 cogs is enough. Many non sport riders get tired of rowing 6 speeds when they are just heading to the diner anyway :)

Phil You missed the truly new Tiger 900’s. Up in power, better fuel economy, new seats, new exhaust, some vibration dampening and new front end and tank area looks.

Speed 400 looks like it will be a fun and economical bike, Speed twin 1200 would be a blast . Why would you ever buy a Boss Hog when Triumph makes a Rocket 3 GT.

Yes there are couple of the 1200cc Triumph bikes I would like to ride, and definitely would like to try out a Rocket 3.

I like all their sport touring or adventure touring stuff. And, who wouldn’t want to ride the Rocket???
