My 1994 Mercedes C280 was blowing hot air. I was told a couple years ago that my compressor was leaking. At the time, my AC was still blowing cold air so I figured it was a slow leak and I will see what happens. Well, I must have lost my refrigerant over the spring as hot summer came along and no AC. Chris Fix's video on how to do served as inspiration for me to tackle this on my own. I did have to buy my own set of gauges, vacuum pump and R134a refrigerant. I apologize that for some reason when I thought I was recording I wasn't so I lost some footage. Nevertheless, please let my video inspire you to tackle the process of simple troubleshooting and recharging. I will replace my compressor, pulley and some hoses if my refrigerant leaks out over the fall and into next spring.
