I love everything but the back seat space. Many reviews mention the back seat space is very similar to the previous generation. This is extremely disappointing considering these back seats were already considered the worst in its class.

They hit a home run. Absolutely improved everything and then gave you some bad ass cool features. The 2.4 KW is a game changer. The compressor and lights on side of bed. Then comes the new engine.frame. It seems like they gave this more love then the tundra.

I prefer the smaller cab and 6ft bed. I’m glad they kept it on the more base trims. I never use the back seat for passengers.

Something that’s really important to me is how the rear seats are going to fold and the backplate material. I plan to haul my ICECO fridge in the back on occasion, and I love having the hard plastic backing on my current 3rd Gen since it makes a great platform for the pup

The two things I wish Toyota did: 1) give us a 2.5L N/A Hybrid option with dope MPG’s 2) opt for a 5.5ft bed instead of the 5. I always found 5 to be a tad too short, with 6 being a tad too long.

I have a 2011 Tacoma TRD that I bought new in 2010 that I have 240,000 miles on. Not a single problem other than routine maintenance. I will be trading in/selling it for a new Trail Hunter. LOVE this truck!. :)

yea and the clown in this video, sitting there with visibily 3/4" (pause at 7:40) between his knee and the seat in front of him is gushing over the leg room. It's cringy AF. And he's just slightly taller than average. I've got a gen3 taco and there's not even enough room for a toddler in a car seat

This truck is everything I wanted for the tundra. I love it. Only issue for me personally is that the taco is small.

The Tacoma is smaller in width and length so it can get into places the Tundra can’t. It’s also got more fuel range and comes with hundreds of accessories. It also costs less. That said the Tundra will haul more and pull a bigger trailer. Just depends on how many times you haul a big load or pull a bigger trailer vs. everyday use.

The 2.4t isn’t a new engine. They use it in several Lexus SUVs and the Highlander. The transmission is the same as the Highlander without the front differential and turned north south. It is superior to the V6. It has more usable power and isn’t starved for oil at extreme angles like the V6 was.

I know it is a midsize truck but I hoping for a bigger back row. If they are offering a 6ft bed size but you want the 5ft bed why not add the extra foot to the back seat. I also know that these models are not officially set so maybe Toyota will see the comments for a bigger back row.

This is the second Trailhunter I've seen and both have a sunroof. Some claim the sunroof won't be available. That doesn't seem realistic on a high level model like this.

Same. Would’ve rather they reduced cost and kept the tailgate a simple mechanism. I have a 2014 Rav4 Limited and one of the hydraulics on the auto-lifting trunk broke. To replace it was going to cost a couple thousand. Opted to spend only a couple hundred bucks to convert it to manual open/close. That’s all I can think of when seeing this “feature”.

According to dealers I've talked to regarding ordering a Trailhunter or Tacoma in general with options put on from the factory so you can roll into your monthy payment and get what you want, there's no custom order option for the Tacomas. I've watched and listened to other podcast and videos where Toyota Spoke persons, influencers, interviewers, reviewers say you can but not according to the place you actually purchase them.

is the Traihunter the only trim level with BOTH long bed and big 4-door cab? Need both. I'd hope all the add-on protection/skids/rock rails, roof racks and the thing bolted to bed frame would be options. Lower the initial cost by optioning these things. I'd be tacking the rails, and racks off for starters. Not rock crawling. But need the long bed and all the doors. Thanks.

I am sad to see the access cab go. I don’t want 5 seats, but 2 isn’t enough either. I usually drive alone or with one passenger, but sometimes my wife and daughter will both come along. I really liked the access cab and the jump seats. I don’t have major complaints otherwise. It looks great, has cool features, and should be better on fuel.

The real question is did they make the TSS sensor more robust and less susceptible to errors or failure that will completely shut down your truck. And did the integrate the BSM into the lights or etc so you can put a steel rear bumper and still retain the feature.

I love the styling of this trail hunter the wheels the paint the color scheme is really nice. It's not flashy but it is very attractive. I'm much more of a fan of the trail hunter than the TRD pro The TRD pro's a little over the top for me. I currently own a 2018 TRD off-road 6 ft bed and it's paid for so... Not sure if I want to upgrade or not? These trucks do look awesome though but I've always been very happy with my TRD off-road. I'd be interested to see what the price and how they're going to have the TRD off-road setup I haven't seen anybody show that yet. I think the price tag on this trail hunter is going to be pretty high I think it's going to be knocking on the door 60K? Tell me what you think? Did you get to see a TRD off-road and how is it set up? And is it available in the iForce Max? I'm curious what the turbo 4 cylinders going to get for fuel economy without the hybrid. Still have a lot of questions but initially I think it looks pretty awesome. I just got to decide if I want to spend money or not? Thank you 👍
