Ingredients for the Bisibelebath ( Sambar Satham )
Bisibelabath powder
Channa dal 1 tbsp
fennel seeds 1/4tsp
fenugreek 3 gms
pepper corm 1/4 ts
long red chilli 4 nos
byadgi chilli 2 no
coriander seed 1 tbsp
dry coconut 2.5 tbsp
cinnamon 1/2 inch cloves 5nos
Asafetida few pinch
ghee for sautee
Rice - 125gms
Toor dal - 50gms
Bisibela bath
round chilli 4 nos
mustard 1tsp
fenugreek 1/2 tsp
sambar onion (Shallots) 50 gms
curry leaves 2 strings
green peas 30gms
carrot 25gms
beans 25gms
drumstick 1/2
cauliflower 2 tbsp
brinjal 2 nos
potato 1 no
tomato 1 big
turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
chilli powder 1/2 tsp
dhania powder 1 tsp salt
tamarind - 1 lime size
cashew nuts - 4 nuts
ghee - 5 tbsp
coriander leaves few chopped
Bondi (optional) for garnish
