Oh Boy, he's a GREAT teacher, they are lucky to have him, I see a long road ahead, if cutting a potato is this difficult, can you imagine what's going to happen with the technically complicated stuff, I wish them both great luck, I'm holding thumbs for them
Learn food from Master Wang Gang, and focus on the following: 1. Cut potato shreds evenly (first potato slices should be even, secondly, when cutting, the force should be even, the inspection method is that the potato shreds on the knife surface run in one direction) 2. Put the potato shreds in clear water immediately after cutting, and if the potato shreds are qualified
tough but fair teacher. I can only assume this is how Chef Wang was instructed too :-)

doesn't say what exactly to improve though. he pointed out the mistakes but not how to fix them so hopefully he did tell them but we just don't see it

@@Teehe98 well I feel like there's no other way to improve than practicing A LOT and forming muscle memory. just look at the potato slices Chef Wang cut.. I don't think one can attain that just with verbal instruction.
