Reminds me of my husbands brother, real POS, my sister in laws whole pregnancy went with her cooking cleaning doing heavy lifting caring for their first child alone, and dealing with a lot of stress while my brother in-law did nothing help her or ease her body while dealing with pregnancy he didn't lift a finger. She gives birth and she's telling me all about how he told her he would help with THIS baby (cause he fully admits he did absolutely nothing for their first child.) And how he's gonna help feed her take care of her etc. Fast forward only a couple weeks and he's back to doing nothing and she's still healing she's back to cooking cleaning and caring for now 2 kids alone. Recently 5 months after giving birth she got a job and I remember her being so so excited to be able to get out of the house and do something other than house chores and taking care of kids. The husband agreed to take care of them only for him to then make her quit her job after one day because he couldn't handle watching his own kids for 5 hours. She didn't even do a full shift. I'm also mad at her because she let's him do all of this crap and she says it's cause "he can't handle his emotions he was never taught to and I don't want him to mistreat me or the kids" I'm so fucking mad.

Tbh At this point everyone needs to also realize that Chelsea is part of the problem. Fool you once type of thing. Her ex was also a jerk and robbed her blind. She immediately jumped into a relationship with a married man. She found out her “husband” lied to his ex wife about wanting children and hurt her so severely, but Chelsea stuck her head in the ground acting innocent. She’s not a girl’s girl that’s for sure. She’s cutting off ties with almost everyone who’s pointing out the clear signs she’s in another toxic relationship. Then went ahead and picked a fight with her kind nail tech today. There was no need to diss your work. She could have just said she’s short on time but instead she’s taking out all her frustrations out on you. Her husband does nothing for her save give her more stress. She’s working with a young child and still has to do more housework on top of it and he’s yelling at her when she spends at most an hour doing her nails.

I completely understand exactly what you’re going through. This just brought back memories of 2020 when I first started doing nails after doing my own for years. And I have one client that her husband was like this he loved her nails. He loved that I did them because he said they were awesome, but he hated that it took me two hours or 2 1/2 hours sometimes longer depending on if you want to be bling out completely, or you’re asking for all these designs. You know some of us work freehand we don’t always use stickers or stamps and there are some things that we do because we’re artists we like to make our art but when you’re asking for something like that, you have to be considerate of the time specially if that person is wanting to do it very good and not be sloppy. but they’re always happy at the end. They just don’t understand the timeframe. I’m not a robot. None of us are.

Men are parents too. He needs to learn to just suck it up and be a father. There are men who will HAPPILY hang out with their kids all day so mom can get some me time because they want to spend time with their kids.

Speaking as a Nailtech, and having cared a great deal about my clients, this would be done for me. 1.) I don't do repairs on the work of other technicians. Certainly not on a regular basis. 2.) My service times are created by me for a reason. If I happen to finish early, so be it. I'd provide her with my service time for various services, and let her choose to come to me or not. But I wouldn't alter my services for anyone. Although, I'd do my best to accommodate special circumstances. This chic and her mouthy husband can kick rocks.

Don't you think you're taking this too far? Clients will always go to different techs to shop around. It's not about you. It's about the client. None of us likes it but that's the real world.

@natashaalicia8105 I can see your point. However, according to the video and after following the storyline of this client, the technician has been extremely accommodating to the client's schedule as well as the client coming back with poor work that creates extra work for her. Now, the client is insulting and demanding and threatening to go elsewhere. At some point, as professionals, we have to stand our ground, defend our work, our timing, our méthode and our reputations. Sometimes, those clients need to be welcomed to go elsewhere. We are not professionals at the will of one client. I have had to fire a couple of clients in my career. It leaves the door open for another client who truly appreciates our working relationship.

Granted. I see your side of the story. I can understand that. Someone else messes up, client runs to you to make miracles happen. I've only just started doing a nail technician course, and I've been doing acrylic a really long time on my own nails. So I know acrylic tips, on nail forms and dual forms. I can do gel, but not yet as comfortable with gel because there are so many names. Polygel/ acrylic gel, soft gel, hard gel and I'm learning what's for what and when? I still haven't gotten to a point where I know we're going to sculpt the base layer in...then it comes. Acrylic gel, polygel, hard gel, soft gel. I'm using the Iconic Acrylic Gel with the iconic liquid by Planet Nails. But I've never had such a hard time trying to mould this gel! Then you get pots of gel and here it's only tubes (South Africa). It's insane. I need to get more products and I was thinking Kiara Sky is a good brand. Do you think I should go with Kiara Sky everything or do you have another possibly cheaper brand that I could invest in? I need an LED lamp as all I have is a UV lamp, and my drill is gonna go soon.

@natashaalicia8105 There is a lot to getting to know your products. It definitely takes time to learn how they perform. Then how they will perform on each individual client, because we know everyone is different. Kiara Sky has a great reputation. I use Creative Nail products. Best of luck to you in your career!

As upset as we all are about Chelsea's situation let's remember how important it is that she keeps coming back to this nail tech. I hope she holds on to people from her life prior this man if she can ❤
