Too bad. If you didn’t watch it you didn’t get to see the best female player in the world, Siming Chen.

I'm sorry but if the pace shown here is any example of women's tournament playing I'll prefer to watch paint dry.........

There is nothing more excruciating than watching Eklent Kaci or Dennis Orcullo playing without a shot clock. Did you watch the full match, or just the first game? There was a lot of safety play, and a couple of missed shots, so that game ran a little long -- but always within the limits of the shot clock. But aside from that game, I don't see a problem with the pace, unless you'd like a shorter shot clock. The first three games saw some uncharacteristic misses from both players, but Chen's game definitely settled as the match progressed. Han Yu was definitely struggling today, and the speed on her safety play was off, and that cost her a couple of games. There are some excellent safety shots in this match, and some very good play. Several break and runs, good safety, smart choices, and of course a few missed shots. If this is the only women's game you have ever watched, I think it's premature to judge the entire women's world of pool.
