Thank you Chief, for the wonderful teaching, of the Cherokee language. I'm part Cherokee on my dad's side, my great great grandmother, walked the trail of tears, died before she reached where ever they were sending her, my great grandma survived, my mother met Granny Broadwater, before she passed on, it's been my dream, to try and speak Cherokee, thank you again, many blessings to you and your family. You take care of your self.

Siyuu!! Ugawiyuhi. We are constantly repeating the lessons 1, 2 and part 1 of lesson 5. We also started with lesson 3. The last time you heard from us was 2 days ago. On Sunday. We watched the relegion channel of pastor Joseph Prince about live dailey with wisdom (Sakal). This program also helps us to understand thing of the Bible so that we can explain it to other people who also don't. We don't remember everything.. The wisdom they talk about began with: the old testament. Joshua had Wisdom, because Moses layd hands on him. The Heart of the Bible consists of psalms. They are poetic. There are 13 songs of wisdom about time and the seasons. To know exactly who or what, people must read the Bible. That is why Jesus uses stories with examples -difficult- so that people, who are curious (hungry for his word) start to read. That's the intention. You are a great teacher. We understand now that Hawa and Howa almost means the same just like Vv. Sgi (2).

Ah Thunderbolt, I have stumbled across these lessons, and I have to say Sgi. I've been wanting to learn Cherokee language, as well as a whole lot of other aspects of the Cherokee culture (as well as every other Native culture out there.)I may not know whether if I have any Native blood in me..but I find it's what I connect to the most. So again, Sgi for posting these wonderful lessons on this site.

Makes sense because iga means day and when you add the “hvga” it makes it plural . Days are synonymous with numbers, so hvgaiga is basically how many or how much . When you ask someone how many or how much you’re questioning the amount of something which deals with numbers . That’s the connection

siyuu! Sgi for the lessons, chief moonwolf! I appreciate the lessons. I wish I could keep up with the lessons, but as a slow learner it's a little hard with so many words at once. My fault, not yours. I can only learn a few at a time. so it's taking me a really long time. still, thank you for teaching the eastern dialect.

Yes that is true. There are many words in our language that very with dialect. That is why it is a little hard to learn sometimes. The dialect I speak is a form of Eastern Band but comes from Southeastern Kentucky Mountains and also is a little different than most
