@@Kiwi_Chess Man, come on, it's just chess, I also just tilted and dropped to 1822 from 1928 in 3 hours, but I am not quitting chess unlike you, you seemed so calm at first
I really wish you would realize how many people (like myself) would love to be 1800. You are much better than you are giving yourself credit for. Hang in there. Good luck!

Consider me your newest fan. I relate a lot to the struggle you feel. Im about to start my own channel and im much further back than you. Peaked at 1605 and then tilted to 1478 a few months back and haven't been playing ever since. Im gonna be making my comeback and channels like yours help to motivate me. Dont give up. Remember when you were where im at. Youve come too far to give up. Good luck, buddy!

Sometimes we lose a lot of rating before reaching a new peak. This is especially true when trying to implement new ideas into our game. peak > learn new idea > lose some rating > new peak ...

It's tough when you drop a piece right out of the opening. However you gave it your best shot and almost managed to create some counterplay, but having your King stuck in the centre really restricted your options in trying to drum up some chances. Still, tomorrow is another day!

I think the best thing to increase your strength would be to learn some new stuff. Either straight queens gambit or e4 with white, and kings Indian bs d4 and Sicilian vs e4. Make an alt account for new stuff, start a rating climb with that one, too. I think you struggle when positions take on a character you’re unfamiliar with, and do very well when they follow paths you are familiar with. But I do think there are holes in your understanding that have been created by playing the caro and London. (As well as strengths you have developed from them). You could play on both accounts, play on this one when you want to play a London/caro, and the other one when you want a break from the 1800 grind. -likewise, I need to start playing than queens gambit, KID, and Sicilian. Case in point: playing the Kings Indian Defense has completely changed how view, treat, strategize, and play with the pawns in front of my king. It absolutely revolutionized my chess game by putting a new powerful tool in my belt. I quite suspect learning the French, ruy Lopez, Kings gambit, smith mora, etc…would all deepen my understanding and give me new plans and tools.

If your opponent knows what to do against the kings indian white is gonna win like 70% of the time. In main lines kings indian as white I have a 73% win rate. The plan is too risky.

Yeah this is why I’m learning the Sicilian then I’m picking up a new opening with white, this is also why I started posting the semi slav a few months ago

10 losses in one day is tuff. I litterally had the same thing done to with me rating, literally i was around 1640 and so the i went to 1540 in one day. At that point i didnt care about the rating and i literally got back up like in 3 days bec thst wasnt where i was meant to be. Now im 1700, im the one who was complaining that im stuck at 1600 for a while 😂 but im in the early 1700s now. I just need to keep it there and keep improving. I just play chess when i feel like and if i not feeling to i dont play, that the privilege i have though
