If you're doing low-to-high cable flys, with your hands as they are, you are simultaneously shortening and lengthening the pecs with horizontal adduction and external rotation, respectively. This, in fact, is counterproductive.

I gave the low cable flys a try with the cables set not all the way to the bottom and it made a huge difference. Every time I tried it in the past I put the cables all the way at the bottom and it killed my front delts, but this alleviated that problem. Thanks for that tip bro

Is there are reason you are doing flat/incline barbell and incline/decline dumbbells? If you're doing these all in the same workout it's kind of pointless. Pick one or the other for each angle. This goes even more so when you add dips into the equation. No point in doing decline and dips in the same session really.

Is a three day splits good for weight loss? I jog in between for 60min..
@TonyDo
10 жыл бұрын
A split doesn't dictate your weigh loss. Overall picture of your routine and food consumption dictates whether you gain weight, lose weight, or maintain. With that said, I think three days per week in the gym is not the most optimal, but will get the job done. If you need someone to help you and point you in the right direction hit up tdofit.com and we'll make you all kinds of fat loss.

***** Actually alot of people have weak lower pecs.Most people have all nice upper chest LOL hence all the stringers at the gym Kris Armitage your probably going heavier or more reps on you upper chest workouts. Go heavier and more reps on your decline. i had the same issue.
