Thanks for the info. on the 69's; I didn't know that was the last year for the 2 door in a Bel Air trim, & as a wagon. I did own a 65 Bel Air wagon at one time with a 283; With a optional overdrive automatic.

I have a 65 2-door Bel Air, sadly in need of total restoration.. It's been in the family since new. My great-grandfather bought it new from Graff Chevrolet, Grand Prairie, Tx.. I got it in 1975, at 15 yrs old and have had it ever since.. Just wished I had the $$$ to restore it to a nice drivable condition. Randy A Carlisle / DJ / KSGV Seagoville Tx

Don't forget that chevrolet made a Belair Sport coupe in 1970. I think in Canada.

That makes sense the coupe would've been continued for '70 since it was nearly the same as the '69 except for the grill and taillights.

The Bel Air in Canada, was also called a Pontiac Laurentian and wasn't a wide tracking Catalina.

Were back up lights an option on the Bel Air?

In 1970, you had to order the 400 c.i.d to get a THM 350 three speed automatic.
