Thanks so much! I also have a Chevy cruze standard... question please. Is there a separate reservoir for the clutch fluid or is it also fed from the break fluid reservoir?

Fed from the break fluid reservoir, so same tank. Thank you!

Can i just empty the reservoir and refill it with new fluid, and do 2 week intervals until the fluid is clear, do you think that works?

shop says need to replace brake fluid and not replace pads , does that make sence? Peddel going to near the floor. car stops and no barke noise.

If you needed pads the shop would love to sell them to you. My friends Cruze does the same thing but mine doesn’t. We change his fluid by hand but didn’t help, maybe the machine shops have would if theres air in line, but how did air get in there? I believe, mostly guessing, that he needs new master cylinder, maybe seals going bad? It stops so he isn’t worried. Im guessing thats same with yours.

When you first removed the brake fluid from the reservoir, did you empty it all the way or did you leave some so no air got in there?

So how do you bleed the clutch? Just open it and let it drip out or what?

I used the pump tool on that too, just like the brakes. Sorry i try to keep my videos as short as possible, i also forgot to add; just rest the brake reservoir cap back on top to keep dirt out, don’t screw back on during bleed.

Thanks bud. Ended up having someone pump and hold the clutch instead. Great video

Can I just top off the fluid? Just had a brake change but wanted to charge a extra 100 for the brake flush

If its your vehicle you can do whatever you want. I paid $75 to flush brakes but that was 8 years ago.

Most people don't bother doing this.. it doesn't extend the life of anything, if your brake system is properly sealed, it shouldn't be absorbing moisture. Especially with drum brakes, you should replace wheel cylinders when it needs shoes, so it will get flushed then. A complete waste of time, money and fluid.
