I have not been able to see my fuel gage gas gage gauge for a while in my 1988 88, 1989, 89. 1990, 90 Chevrolet GMC Truck because the haze or white overlay on the gage makes it difficult to see. I also have not been able see what gear my automatic transmission was in because the transmission indicator was wrong and had to be adjusted. Then to top it all off, the bulbs blew and I had to replace the light bulbs in the instrument cluster so I could see my gas gage. I needed to learn how to remove the gage cluster or instrument panel to replace the bulbs or lamps or lights. I could have done an LED swap but really didn't need to upgrade; I just needed to see the gages. The original bulbs lasted 32 years so maybe these will be as good.
