Dick Clark was always one of the biggest supporters of Disco. I lived for Saturdays to watch these Shows.

I liked seeing the featured artist group perform two back to back tunes. The only difference verses dancing to a record of the same song as these Chic tunes is that the dancer groups and solos weren't captured by the usual American Bandstand Dick Clark shows. Still it was neat seeing the silhouette dancing in the background of Chic in blues and reds sunset like lighting.

Who would have thought that Bernard Edwrds & Nile Rogers would later work with the Creme De La Creme of Music. Diana Ross, Madonna, David Bowie, Duran Duran, Sister Sledge and their Songs are still interpreted and sung all over the World. In fact when Girls Aloud the most successful Group to come out of Reality TV in the UK did their Version of "Le Freak" in Concert and Kimberley Walsh one of the Members did her version of "Everybody Dance".

Everybody Dance was also done by Steps, who were one of the biggest Co-Ed Groups in England who like Girls Aloud were discovered by Pete Waterman who had Simon Cowell following him around like a Punk when he started out because he wanted to get his foot in the door.

As many of you know The UK does alot of cover Versions of other people's songs which means that if They Own The Rights to the Song they get paid. Keith Sweat whose Song "I Want Her" was on The Rate A Record Segment Of American Bandstand made Bank off of Silk and Another Level (UK) since they each did their Versions of Freak Me that both went to Number One in their respective Countries.

I believe you. In fact Nile Rodgers worked with them after Andy Taylor & Roger Taylor (No Relation) left. He has worked with the creme de la creme in the UK from David Bowie (RIP), and UK Groups have covered songs he and Bernard Edwards wrote together. Amongst them were Everybody Dance for Steps (1996-2001), as well as Kimberley Walsh and Girls Aloud did their version of Le Freak in Concert at Wembley.
@Damien Chance Is arguable between 70s and 80s what was better Music decade..but *all agree that this Time Is the worst: Divisions by Feminism and BLM, The worst Music, etc* .
