Sometimes the tools do make the man, Got mine a year ago still not unpacked, but looking at making a jig like yours welded together. Yup, it works proof of concept. I think the idea is to run half the cutter into the wood and start at an edge so it won't stuff in the trench and probably 1/4 in deep cuts. you should stabilize the framing...stiffen it. along with that slide board. It's all about vibration when machining. Any thanks for the testing out.

I muscled the collet out forces it onto the bit then put the two in together.

What are the dimensions and screw size for the 4 screws on the bottom that attach the black plate to it?

Hard to tell from here if there not 1/2 inch shaft bits then there not for this tool. I have a kit somewhere that lets me use 3/4in bits.

Use a pliers to remove the collec after you remove but. Now insert the bit all the way and then put the bit and collect inside the collect holder. Make sure they go in well and then install the nut making sure its tight.

@@AkinAkinsanya do you have to have the collet holder? Cause I bought one that was a return and they didn't return any of the items that should have been with it.. wish I could send a pic
