All of these Gangs are still active, the C-Notes and these other gangs are feeder teams for the Chicago Outfit, and other organized crime groups like the Outlaws which also are partnered with the Outfit. These street gangs have been given orders to conduct business more quietly than they have in the past, such as no more murders, or gang retaliation. Most of the drug dealing has been moved off the street corners in these neighborhoods, you can still see some gang tags from these old gangs but they keep the neighborhood clean with a much lower profile.

Very few Italians joined GLs in the beginning because Southern Italians (from southern Italy) still weren’t consider “whíte”. The Taylor Street gangs was accurate and C-Note$ for Italians. Italians also started the Latin Nobels on Division & Kedzie (1950s). Some of the Latin Nobles flipped to Latin Kings in the 1960s when Latin Kings moved their headquarters there. The Sharks too were an Italian gang that started out in the area that became Cabrini Green. Another gang Italians joined were Deuces who have been mixed membership for a very long time. Royals too had a few Italians. There were also some small gangs that never spread out from their original neighborhood like Sons of Capone that were an Italian “club”.

The Gay Lords have a síte where they share their history, this is what they say about why they choose their name: “The Gaylords adopted their name at a time period in which homosexuality had nothing to do with the word "Gay." It was a trendy and widely used word of the time that described a proud, happy mood. The word "Gay"could be found back then in the names of businesses, books and even in movies such as: The Gay Intruders (1948), and The Gay Amigo (with western star, Cisco Kid, 1949).”

Your wrong on the jousters of Hanson park, your probably confusing 1995 with 2005 cause by 1995 they were completely gone from Hanson Park. And the real pressure was put by the Latin pachucos, because they took over their territory. In fact the next generation of Hispanics that grew up around Hanson Park in the mid 90s never even knew what a jouster was.

@gangsterscopsandpolitician1586

Not sure what you base that false statement on? Some Latinos are light skinned and obviously inherited a lot if Spanish DNA. But most I know are dark skinned with a lot of African and Native American DNA. Most are a mix of all three, but some even have some Asian DNA. For instance, a former President of Peru was named Alberto Fujimoro and had obvious Japanese facial traits. There is no one size fits all with Latinos. Research it for yourself.

The term Hispanics came from the Spanish imperialist who came to Latin America raped and pillaged and the ones who stayed tended to have more European blood obviously. As time went on the Spanish and the indigenous mixed and created the Latino race race. I have 20% European blood 70% indigenous so yes I am Latino not a fuckin Hispanic
