I tried this recipe last night, and omg! It’s what I’ve been looking to create for the last 20 years! I used Siracha sauce, and your own tikka recipe. Absolute banger!

Love Daddy Cools, especially the cowboy candy, (Salted caramel jalapeños) 😋😋😋, their Sambal is great too. I throw both in with my spaghetti bolognese 👌👌. So many good products

Great video, do you ever blend your onions into a paste first?
@MistyRicardo
Күн бұрын
Rarely, because blended onion doesn't cook and caramelise well. A couple of exceptions though with my recipes.

@@MistyRicardo I just bought your curry compendium book so keen to experiment. All the recipes I have tried so far have recommended blended onion that’s all, just curious. Thanks for replying

What’s the difference between your curry compendium books and the other volume 1 and 2 you have. I have the volume 1 and 2 and am wondering if the compendium is just a combination of them both. Also for some reason the compendium is not available in Canada Amazon as a hard copy.
@MistyRicardo

Hi Michael. Curry Compendium is indeed Volume 1 & 2 combined but has 6 extra recipes, some updated artwork, and is hardback. Compendium is sold out everywhere until mid next month, after which you'll be able to order from Canada I'm sure. In the meantime the Kindle edition is immediately available.

Amazing content! Would this work with extra virgin olive oil?
@MistyRicardo
Жыл бұрын
Low smoke point of olive oil would restrict the heat you can cook at before it burns. You could try adding a little of it near the end of cooking - a specific flavour though, aligned with Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cooking.

Is the base gravy you used to poach the chicken then used in making the curry or do use fresh gravy

Yes it'd reused. Not for vegans or vegetarians though.
