He’s wasting the steam from cooking it. He should have built a steam trap to capture the steam that escaped from cooking and condense it to make water!!! There are starving and dehydrated kids in Africa that would die for that water 😢😢😢

I always boil then fry mine. Thanks for showing me a different way to prepare them. I also use gizzards in my dressing for the holidays.

You do correct , it needs to be boiled first to clean well , cause it is stomach . On video he did not cook it at all . If you try to eat it not well cooked , you will have problems with your stomach and pain

I cook mine a variety of ways. Skillet simmering for a while sometimes. Other times in a slow cooker. I slow cook my squirrels and then fry them. Turns the meat tender and delicious. I’ll do that either way gizzards next time!

In Puerto Rico we boil them first and then pickle them with plantains. Absolutely delicious. I’m gonna have to try this version. Looked good 😊

I'm American and Italian, and while I've never tried either, I will forever say how much I appreciate that other cultures utilize so much of the other parts of the animal's body. It makes it feel like its death was not for waste.

Best way to eat the gizzies… Soak them in warm milk after you poke them and add pepper. No salt yet. Soak for 1 hour. Then drain, add pepper and garlic, then mix 1 egg white and some milk to make wet. Now mix some flour and starch to make dry. Season the dry with your favorite seasoning without salt. Dry stuff. Now triple coat (wet to dry 3 times). Prep all pieces then sit in fridge for 1 hour or overnight. Now fry them in hot oil! Should take 5 minutes they are crunchy and delicious!😊😂
