I love how this turned out it really is cute! Your sewing and imagination is really good and your alterations are looking great! Have you ever thought about using a walking foot on your machine? I'm a professional seamstresses and it is one of the most important tools I have. Especially for slippery or hard to work on fabric like chiffon. Obviously you need to use the proper weight thread and needle which is also so important. Not criticizing your work but I actually was wondering if you knew about that foot. Good luck with all your endeavors!

Very cute! However I feel that the front of the dress looks very boxy and lacks shape in conjunction with the rest of the dress. I think it would have benefitted from a couple of darts at the side seams by the bust to give it more shape.

Omg, so glad I'm not the only one. I think it is beautiful and she has more vision than me, but I do notice certain things in clothes. I think if the shoulders didn't have the volume the boxy shape could have worked. But with the flowy, romantic shape of the sleeves and hem combined, there should have been a waist. Still love it
@CravenWolf1986

I kept sitting here trying to figure out what was nagging at me about the final look, and I have to agree with this. I also agree with Katy Walker. She needs something to keep those shoulders from slipping. She was kind of crunched for time with this one, though. Maybe she can tweak the design some more when she returns home and has time?
