Braille Institute Child Development Consultant Elizabeth Reyes shows you how to create a high contrast activity box. The box can be used to stimulate a child’s vision offering contrasting images. Contrast images help strengthen eye sight, and they also help focus and encourage vision development.
Materials needed:
Contrast images
Cardboard box
Solid paper to wrap box
Tape/glue
Instructions:
-Cover cardboard box with solid paper
-Print contrast images
-Take or glue on side of box
-Position child in front of box (sitting up, on side or tummy)
