Using these 3 exercises: Towel neck lifts, Shrugs and Floor neck raises you can build a stronger neck and Trapezius muscles which will help to absorb some of the damage from the punches you take in competition/sparring. The more support your jaw and temple have from head punches from a strong neck, the less chance you have of being hurt, rocked or knocked out. Overall your fight confidence will increase knowing you have a strong supportive neck.
