Thanks. Ha! I didn’t even check to see if there was oil in it. The cylinder is marked 97cc. I’m thinking I may use this engine in the bike because it’s a semi-auto and I can retain the rear hand brake.

@@MiniBikeMike what if you make ones that can just be bolted together surely that's possible with some kind of light weight metal that's strong enough I was thinking of trying to build an alloy one but unsure if it'll hold the weight of the engine I plan to use it with which is just a yx 140cc

@MiniBikeMike

Thanks. Honda made approximately 65k of the CT70HK0’s. They came is 3 colors. From my experience, they produced roughly equal amounts of each color, so that’s around 21,500+/- of the green HK0’s. I have a hard time referring to something as rare, when over 20k of them were made. But, that’s just my opinion.

Thanks for watching and sorry for the delay in responding. Yes, I still highly recommend the black Lifan semi-auto. They seem to be hard to find and when you do find one, the price is much higher than the manual trans. I’m hoping they’ll come back down at some point.

Unfortunately, no clue, I’ve not seen a stator setup like that. If it were mine, I’d pull the stator and go with this one: 12v stator plate amzn.to/3WOMDnh If you also pick up this kit, it’s everything to make it run electrically: 12v simple harness, CDI, coil, etc amzn.to/3Wto1jZ

I have another question, and you seem pretty responsive, How much current can the stator, and regulator support, I bought an 110cc engine, and am pleased with it, but I am worried about the lights being too much for the stator, and draining the battery. It only has the 2 headlights on the ATV. Should it be able to power that and more? or is the system just enough to charge the battery? I did a fair amount of googling, and did not find any clear answers in respect to stator output.

Hard to diagnose without physically looking at the bike. You might try to verify that the coil and plug are good. If the coil has two wires, hook the black/gold wire to the “+” side of a battery. Touch the green ground wire to the “-“ post of the battery and you should see the spark plug fire. If not, you have a bad plug or coil.
