China is rapidly developing a world-class airport cluster in the Greater Bay Area, with Guangzhou Baiyun Airport at its core. The third phase expansion, with a total investment of 53.77 billion yuan, includes Terminal 3 and a comprehensive transportation center. Notably, Terminal 3 adopts a unique "Blooming Flowers in Yangcheng·Yangcheng Corolla" architectural design, symbolizing the image of "Blooming Yangcheng." The project incorporates intelligent construction technologies, such as plastering robots, to enhance efficiency. Scheduled for completion in 2025, it aims to handle 120 million passengers and 3.8 million tons of cargo annually, establishing Baiyun Airport as a global leader in passenger and cargo throughput. Terminal 3 will integrate high-speed and intercity rail transit, further boosting the aviation hub's connectivity. The project aligns with the region's economic growth and urbanization, contributing to the Greater Bay Area's status as a world-class transportation hub.
