Great looking trailer. I want that exact set up with diesel heater. Can you give a list of parts that you used?

Great install! You should think of using a marine fuel tank for an aux tank with a fuel shutoff/ reserve setting. Reserve being the onboard tank

Hello, I did that almost exact thing but with a 5 gallon jerry can. It is in one of my other videos. Tks

The Jerry can is an OK idea but with the boat tank you can put a 12 gallon in and not have to worry about fuel for a while@@powersportsguy1117

Looks great! Three questions: 1. Is your pass through steel or aluminum? 2. You said your pass through burned the Linex off. What did you do to keep it cool? 3. Any issues with no insulation in the ceiling or walls? Thanks.

So for the wall where you have the exhaust going out did you have to put anything between the outer skin and inner layer? I would think tightening down the inner plat and outer flange pull or put strain on the outer skin...? I am planning pretty much the same build and trying to figure the exhaust out before I cut into the trailer walls.
@powersportsguy1117
Жыл бұрын
No I did not, the outer flange is just mounted to the outer wall there’s about an inch between the inner and outer wall so it’s never been an issue. Let me know if you have any more questions thanks

The outside mounting plate is bolted through the outside wall. The inside mounting plate is just screw to the wall.

Good video. You have done much of what I want to do or have already done to my 20ft Continental, I use mine for my SxS's. I was wondering about the heat of the exhaust going through the wall of the trailer so I was thinking of going through the floor. I too bought a marine exhaust fixture. My addition is solar on the roof to keep the battery charged without plugging in. Cheers

Would you be willing to post a picture of how the pass through for external air looks on the outside of the trailer for the heater intake? From your explanation it sounds like you're not drawing air directly from outside but rather from the space between the exterior and interior walls. Just curious what the outside air inlet looks like.

How does the lineX hold up with studs/carbides? Thanks killer job
@powersportsguy1117
Жыл бұрын
The linex is held up in credible even after almost 5 years. The only issue I had is the edges of the boards or they meet the ramp and we just put a small piece of metal over that. They tell me if it does get wore out they can re-spray just the floor but that has not happened yet.

Couple questions. Can you get four sleds in the trailer without issue? Can you add fuel to the heater easily?

No muffler, it runs great without it. The muffler besides cutting down on a little noise is a drain. As long as the exhaust runs down it will drain fine. Mine drips a little out the side trailer from time to time but has no issues.
