Indonesia built a bauxite smelter for $1.3 billion usd, I am not comparing Indonesia with jamaica but they are both 2 world class bauxite producers,ganja proceeds can pay for a smelter as well as tourists $
@koriifaloju2051
4 ай бұрын
Difference is Indonesia used her own resources (mostly from palm oil industry) to invest in their smelter (economic diversification), the JA government, has limited resources and would need an outside investor to build a smelter, meaning the gains are repatriated to the foreign entity, like the JA tourism sector

China is leading in supply of solar panel, electric car n steel, they have attained overcapacity state, a situation where a company or country can produce enough for itself n the entire world. As a result many companies may collapse cos supply will reduce selling price beyond profitability, while the world embraces China be aware that issue is looming

If they had oil resources and reserves, trust me they wouldn't be going hard with these electric vehicles. but hey...this is an advantage to them because they can ditch fuel cars and not feel the economic pinch!!! Imagine Saudi Arabia without oil... They would probably be third world countries!

@@JamCan6322I totally agree The best (business minds, political strategist, sports stars etc) have one thing in common THEY POSITION THEMSELVES TO WHERE THE MOMENTUM IS GOING and NOT, where it is leaving. As we say in finance, you cannot drive a car forward by looking at the rear view mirror.....😅 Too many think this way and fail, what happened before should only be used as an informative guide not the determinate of what you will see in the future market, a visionary looks to where it’s going....
