Taiwan Nanyin Opera
The story is addapted from a romantic prose written by Cao Zhi(Cao Cao's son) in three kindom. Cao zhi was in love with his father's concubine. He was depressed and dreamed about dating a beautiful goddess at River Luo.
See from afar, bright and white, she resembles the rising sun flickering through the rosy clouds of dawn. As I approche her closer, her delicate body seems like a slim and graceful lotus flower swaying in pool.
I fall in deep love with her beauty but in despair not knowing how to express my affection. I look at her with my soft eyes exuding tenderness and love, wishing she could understand my devoutness. Then I untie my jade pendants girdle to her as a pledge for love and call on an appointment. She is so perfect with manners and proses, she responds me with her jade pendants and fixes a date for the appointment with her finger pointing towards the deep water. Im filled with wild joy yet still worry wether this beauty would break her promise. Half in doubt, I draw back my delightness, calm down with composure and warn myself to keep a proper distance with her.
