For those people who are reading the comments, please don't listen and ignore the ignorant comments from South koreans. China never claimed any of these 'korean traditions'. China never claimed 'kimchi' to be Chinese, and the C-netizens only fought about the origin due to koreans cyberbullying and attacking LiZiQi accusing her of 'stealing' kimchi. China also never claimed 'hanbok' , only claimed that 'Hanfu' is Chinese, however, koreans distort the truth by spreading fake rumours insisting that Hanfu was imitating hanbok. South koreans on the other hand are the real ones claiming every Chinese culture to be 'korean' or 'oriental' while denying the origin. For example, in kpop, many celebrities use elements of Chinese culture, yet they call it 'korean'. Koreans know that foreigners are unable to differentiate Chinese and Korean culture, therefore Koreans take advantage of that, and use kpop to appropriate Chinese culture. Koreans often claim these types of clothing as 'hanbok from goryeo dynasty' without providing sufficient evidence, their goal is to change the term 'Hanfu' to 'hanbok'. They are basically calling every Hanfu as 'goryeo hanbok' and blur the differences between Hanfu and hanbok in order to accuse China of 'stealing'. Koreans distort history and falsely claims that 'China was under the influence of korea'. Every time we use historical evidence to prove them wrong, they immediately get political and use politics to attack us. The clothing worn by this girl is an authentic Hanfu from Tang Dynasty which can be proven through cultural relics, historical paintings etc.

@Jk Chinese never claimed kimchi and hanbok as theirs lmfao. They only claimed Hanfu as theirs. Also, China is one of the oldest civilisations with long history and rich culture, there's no reason for China to "steal" korean culture. Every time you ask a korean what China stole from korea, all they can say is 'kimchi and hanbok'. Chinese are not even interested in any of them. If korean netizens didn't attack and threaten people who was just promoting Chinese culture, while falsely claiming that Hanfu is "plagiarised" from hanbok, none of this would've happen. So don't twist the facts and blame China.
@qqcu
Жыл бұрын
@Jk So how tf is that considered as ‘stealing’ kimchi? I watched all of them lmfao. None of them mentioned a single word about kimchi being Chinese. According to your logic, korean people shouldn’t make hot pot since that’s ‘stealing’ Chinese culture. Don’t you koreans love changing the term ‘dumplings’ to ‘mandu’, ‘ZhaJiangMian’ to ‘Jajangmyeon’, and ‘Sushi’ to ‘gimbap’? Here we go again with distorting history. Most of Chinese history was ruled by Han Chinese, Yuan and Qing dynasty excepted. The reason why Hanfu looks different from time to time is because Hanfu evolves. Imagine thinking that fashion remains the same after hundreds and thousands of years. The so-called ‘goryeo hanbok’ does not exist. There’s no relic of evidence to prove its existence or even its ‘influence’ to Ming Dynasty Hanfu. In goryeo, koreans wore Mongolian clothing instead. Gorguryeo and goryeo aren’t same. The word ‘hanbok’ 韓服 doesn’t even exist on history books. Koreans only began developing their own clothing style during the joseon dynasty, called ‘joseon ot’ 朝鮮服 No, I never watch kdramas. I didn’t grow up watching any korean historical dramas, and the same goes for most Chinese. Stop making such assumptions. Why would China even be interested in korean history when it was mostly under the influence of China? The only korean historical drama I can think of is DaeJanggeum. It’s a pity since that drama contained authentic korean culture, whereas the recent kdramas are now using a large number of Chinese cultures. It’s quite ironic that you think China is the one who’s ‘inferior’. Says the country that used to be China’s vassal state in ancient times, where most of their ancient clothing was given by the Chinese emperors. Even korean history books and old buildings contain Chinese characters HanZi. It makes sense why korean people are unable to learn correct history. At least Chinese people have no problem reading your history books. Chinese museums have sufficient number of cultural relics and murals to support Hanfu. Unlike the so-called ‘goryeo hanbok’ from the kdrama ‘scarlet heart ryeo’ there’s no evidence to backup your claims. That’s why koreans can only use that drama as a source of evidence lmfao. Yeah, South Korea is also known worldwide for their cultural appropriation and plastic surgery. You’re just giving korean history plastic surgery and pretend it’s real when it’s not. See the comments under this video from korean netizens? That’s some evidence proving that koreans are the issue. Don't get political with me, I'm not of a Chinese nationalist and I grew up outside of China. China
@qqcu
Жыл бұрын
@Jk I still don’t understand. Is that the only source of evidence you can provide? I didn’t even notice that hashtag and probably the same goes for most people. If that’s considered as ‘stealing’ then koreans are stealing in an open manner. Many koreans label Wuxia and Xianxia style Hanfu as ‘korean’ and openly claims it to be ‘hanbok’ and use kpop as a tool to mislead people. Also, openly changing the term ‘dumplings’ to ‘mandu’, ‘ZhaJiangMian’ to ‘Jajangmyeon’, and ‘Sushi’ to ‘gimbap’? Imagine having the audacity to complain about your kimchi being ‘stolen’. How tf is that promoting China in a propagandist way when none of them mentioned anything political throughout their video? If anything, the kdrama ‘scarlet heart ryeo’ and ‘alchemy of souls’ is promoting korea in a propagandist way since that drama is a great example of korean people’s distortion of history as they label it as ‘goryeo history’. It makes sense as to why koreans are learning ancient history backwards. I watched all the videos, it seems like you lack evidence to prove that China is ‘stealing’ kimchi. First video, LiZiQi in her description she wrote “It’s a traditional dish for Yanbian Chinese of Korean Nationality, but the recipe varies from family to family. For me, I always stew a pot of it with a few chunks of preserved meat. Hot, sour, spicy, with the special flavor of cured meat-It will warm your wintry days.” For the second video, what they said is technically correct 🤷 Thank you for admitting that China is a multi-cultural and multi ethnic country. Since you admit that China has 56 ethnicities. Then I assume you must have heard of ‘Joseonjok’朝鮮族 Ethnically korean but Chinese nationality. They share the same culture as North and South Korea. People would probably accuse China of ‘discriminating’ or being ‘racist’ to these minorities if they excluded Joseonjok 🤷 A lot of the times when koreans provide evidence showing China stealing ‘hanbok’, they use pictures of Joseonjok people wearing their traditional clothes lmfao. How tf is wearing Hanfu considered as ‘Han supremacy’? No Han Chinese has ever forced other ethnicities to wear Hanfu, every ethnicity in China can wear their traditional clothing because every culture in China is being appreciated including joseonjok culture. Yes, I’ve seen the Gorguryeo mural. That mural has been overused by korean people. Every korean I've encountered uses that mural. It seems like that’s the only source of ‘evidence’ they can provide. Gorguryeo isn’t even yours to begin with. According to Samguk Sagi, the Gorguryeo royal family claimed descent from the mythical emperor Gao Yang, who was the grandson of the Yellow Emperor of Chinese mythology, and thus took the surname of ‘Go’. You’re absolutely right! Acknowledging the influences from other cultures is not a shame. Please tell that to yourself and the other south koreans. There are certain Chinese cultures being influenced by other cultures, that is a fact. However, it is south korea’s problem that they can’t acknowledge and accept the fact that they have been heavily influenced by China. Hence, China is not the issue here, you are.

Koreans don't even want to take away China's Hanfu,they just don’t like Chinese who are keep saying that Koreans copied Chinese culture.And also Koreans didn’t made this issues!There are some foreigners who are keep saying that Korean made this issue,but watch Chinese videos.Isn’t it natural to be mad when another country keep claiming that we copied their culture?

@@angel.6920 I don't get it either... Hanfu has different designs in almost every dynasty and it's never been 'thrown away' . I think Qipao is what the commenter is trying to refer to instead of Chapao? Correct me if I'm wrong but while Qipao is considered a traditional Chinese clothing, it's more "modern" and becomes prominent during the 1920s. Hanfu are traditional clothing during the ancient times and the costumes have always been potrayed in Chinese historical series and films. It seems that the generation in China now has started to increasingly appreciate and see the beauty in their traditional clothing, thus popularizing ancient Chinese clothing and there's always some ppl out there who loves making sweeping remark, claiming this and that. Korean hanbok and Chinese hanfu both are beautiful. To some, one might look better than the other but it's all up to self preference. They might look similar (so is Qipao and vietnamese Ao dai) but they're quite different. I can clearly differentiate between a hanbok and hanfu. Perhaps the reason for their similarities are from their origins? That I would have to do some reading and research. Just like how some music has similar melodies but it's an entirely different song, clothing can be the same too. Don't know if that's a good comparison lol.

@@exame462 BS lol, Korea has defeated Sui, Liao, Jin and Japan. China never step on Korea peninsula. We don’t even need to be a vassal of China, and we are never a vassal of China. We were vassal of Yuan but Yuan dynasty is not China. Also it’s not China “influence” Korea. That’s called cultural exchange. If you really wanna say that Korea influenced much more towards China than China towards Korea. Go learn real history kid, not the CCP version

I'm neither from Korea nor China, I just appreciate and love traditional clothings. It's kinda sad looking at these comments. Traditional korean clothing / Hanbok have similar style but the above video displays traditional chinese clothing / Hanfu from the Tang dynasty. I'm not sure if you know but Chinese traditional clothing designs vary based on the different dynasties which is why you may be confused. It's in history and documentations, black and white. I think most people would be able to differentiate between hanbok and hanfu. Are you Korean? As a Korean I think you should know what your own traditional really look like. I'm from neither country but I can see the difference between the two😅 Nonetheless, traditional clothing are all beautiful be it Hanfu or Hanbok. 🥰

If you know your own culture and what hanbok really should look like you will not recognize this as hanbok. Hanbok never have wide-open sleeves as the video shown nor have invisible side-cut (hanbok has U-shaped side-cut). Don’t simply believe what K-drama shows you but study some real history and learn how to admire and develop your own traditional culture instead of keep claiming our cultures’ traditions as yours. Hanbok is also beautiful, so please learn how to distinguish those two before commenting.
