@HarshadPatel

25watt solder iron sufficient . 30watt iron better then 25watt... it heat more . But our work done with 25watt iron thats why use it

@HarshadPatel
10 жыл бұрын
we are using no clean flux means glux burn quickly .when you joint tiny solder pad then its not join properly without having flux... flux paste is a specification of format .. so many type of flux available in market.

Hey man you only want to apply flux when installing the new capacitor, you are wasting it putting it on to de-solder. Also you should not re-heat the joint such as when trying to make the capacitor flush by pressing and re-soldering. When you re-heat the joint without adding flux you are allowing the joint to become oxidized and it will not be a nice reliable joint

Harshad Patel your honest opinion, do you think baking motherboards in oven is stupid or in some instances it could fix them, if you do it just right? my macbook air overheated, it looked like a GPU fail in the moment i turned it off. do you think i should shove it in the oven or just take it to my local reballing service without risking causing additional damage to the logic board by baking?
@HarshadPatel
10 жыл бұрын
some people use this trick for drysolder process but it's not work for reflow . we use oven but our purpose is for only humidity dry . as specially on monsoon.. because of humidity disturb clock fequency. we warm it up to 100 to 120c solder ball melting point is differnet like leadfree = 230 C leaded =180C if you reflow it with oven in this temprature then your other component damage . as specially PF , MF capasitor , line filter insulator etc. bga is connected with solder ball so need to replace ball . reflow is not a permanent solution if you reflow and you get display but it will not work for long time it will return problem again and again after some time

Can someone help me? I spilled water on my laptop and like 5 minutes later the left side of my screen starts to fade white. Not half of my screen but like a quarter of it. My laptop still works, it's still fast, functions properly and everything. But it's just really annoying. Sometimes it'll fade black, then back to white. And it glitches, and fades out so much to the point where I can't see anything on that side of the screen. What did I do? Did I damage a chip? I have a Windows 8. I just don't wanna spend hundreds and hundreds to fix it. :(

hello, thx for great lesson. But you could add on the video the temperature and air speed for each component. For ex, id like to know how much temp and air speed (from 1 to 8) to unsolder a DPAK mosfet? Also your flux you said is this one? www.consoleplug.com/Products/Video%20Games%20Accessory/Repair%20Tool/CP12012/ConsolePlug%20CP12012%20The%20Best%20BGA%20FLUX%20Reballing%20Repair%20Rework-A2.jpg But it seems not liquid as in your video?
