The best swordsman doesn't fear the second best swordsman, he fears the idiot who can swing a sword. There is actually a much easier way to win in battles, this uses the drag technique with the great sword. The great sword usually has a long wind up on heavy and normal attacks after a block or counter, which by for example, swinging from the left, you look right quickly to the point you are actually looking away from them, you are actually speeding up the attack by exploiting the beginning hit boxes from the left. You can also keep doing this by dramatically swinging left to right, right to left, while using high sensitivity mouse settings to look the way the sword will travel. Because the sword is so long, the hit boxes are actually off screen so you can hit the enemy allot faster then looking at them directly. I'm currently level 156 today, and a kill to death ratio of 10 to 1 on PVP using this method. Its not cheating, but using the games mechanics to your advantage through exploiting the drag technique and modified mouse sensitivity, and mouse DPS.

Here's a cool trick that I just discovered as Archer: Crossbow man. If someone is charging at you, and they attack, u can place your shield the moment of the attack, (but the enemy needs to have a heavy weapon or does a heavy attack) nearly destroying the shield and if they are close enough to the shield u can hit the shield destroying the shield, this causes the enemy to instantly get pushed about 2-4meters back giving u a moment to either, run away or reload and shoot them or attack them with ur melee, this trick is op but not garanteed to work all the time. Plz share this trick.

Yes. A few youtubers and reviewers said this because of held block. But that just means it easier to get into. In actuality it has the same fundamental mechanics as Chiv 1 and Mordhau that can be exploited in similar enough ways. There is no real reason to assume the skill ceiling is any lower.
@monoespacial

@@XMysticHerox I recently did a video on Chiv 2 vs Mordhau. @XMysticHerox
3 жыл бұрын
@@monoespacial It doesn´t because holding block is a misplay. Try holding block in duels. You will be rekt by stamina. Sure at the mid range this makes blocking easier. But once you get into higher skill duels people generally try to counter most attacks. Ergo no it doesn´t affect the skill ceiling because at that point nobody is holding block. Meanwhile there are some aspects that are actually more competitive. Like the lack of combo feint to parry. This makes missing actually punishing unlike in Mordhau where you can swing away as long as you know how to do it. Introducing additonal features like the jab certainly adds to the games complexity as well. I have seen people really start to use that in duels.
