The Food Research Lab’s global contract R&D had formulated Chlorophyll water, for which chlorophyll extract, Vitamins A, B12 and D3 were added. The formulated product had an excellent sensory score similar to water.
The taste and flavour sensory parameters got an overwhelming score of 8. However, stability could not be achieved as chlorophyll, and vitamins are susceptible to micro-organism growth. UV treatment and pasteurization process was done to increase the shelf life of the products.
