I had so many frozen bananas secretly stockpiled, I was able to make 3 loafs. Just pulled them out now, they look amazing. I can’t wait for them to cool! Thanks for sharing this recipe, Cecil! Going to bring some to work for everyone. I mean I could eat 3 loafs…buuut I definitely shouldn’t lol.

I made so much banana bread in 2020... And only one of my kids likes it, and my wife doesn't. So Joseph and I ate a lot of banana bread in 2020.

Looks good, and I actually think the use of dark chocolate was an awesome idea! Saying that though I would use the mini chips but that is just my preference. How long until the french onion soup episode? I can't wait for that one.

I made this for game night with my friends and we ate the whole loaf! I didn't add the chocolate chips because i like smothering mine in honey lol

I make banana bread at the restaurant on the regular...and, when I have about 4 quarts of mashed ripe bananas ready, it smells very much like classic Bubble Gum. Have you noticed that?

@@SeasonLiberally Yep...i was unaware that "classic bubblegum" was a mixture of banana, strawberry, and cherry flavors until I got a whiff of a bunch of overripe bananas.

You called your leavener baking soda [once at the beginning and once near the end] AND you called it baking powder once [as you were adding it]. It was confusing. I'll go by what you wrote as your recipe and get back to you if it doesn't turn out. Snag! Couldn't find the written recipe. I hope you consider this well meant feedback rather than "criticism".

I misspoke. It's baking soda. There is enough acid in the mix to activate the leavening so you don't need baking powder.
