Another treat from you Geoff. Made 2 lots for Easter rather than Easter eggs for my grandchildren. One lot with no nuts substituted with chopped fudge & cherries the other with mixed fruit & nuts. They were received with glee. You do share some gorgeous & easy to follow recipies with good company following you along. Thank you xxx

This is wonderful !! A no-bake cake, and chocolate, the food of the gods, too !! In 1753, Linnaeus designated the tree Theobroma cacao, which translates to “cacao, food of the gods.” Thanks for the video. No need for an oven . . . just wonderful !!

Geoff, this looks great! I'm going to make this for my birthday this Friday! Please could you make a rocky road vlog and explain the difference between a rocky road and a tiffin? Thank you!
@geoffsbakingblog

HI Caz. Happy Birthday for Friday. I hope you enjoy the tiffin. I might do rocky road at some time. I think the main difference is that rocky road tends to have things like marshmallow in, and it somewhat sweeter than my tiffin. But tiffin varies too, originating in India as a word for taking a light snack, or a drink.

I love your baking blog! If I may, I have a search question. I wonder if you have a quick title list one can search to quickly see your 'library' of videos? I know you have them all listed sequentially by their published date on your blog. Thank you for your response and for sharing your wonderful videos!

Hi Polly, thanks for your comment. I don't have a list of all the videos, so I will have to research how easy it is to create one. However if you check my blog www.geoffsbakingblog.com you can click on the BLOG ARCHIVE on the right of the screen to see all the videos. If you click the down arrow to the left of the month, or year, you will see the recipes from that month. Clicking on one will take you to the blog entry and in that you are able to click on the video. Or you can copy the title and use it to search my youtube channel. That is a long-winded way but it would work. Meanwhile I will see what I can do about creating a list, if that is possible.

Following your instructions, I found the archive list by year. This enabled me to see the titles by year. Thank you for the assistance. This is well sufficient for my search purposes. You have a wonderfully put together blog site! Again, I so look forward to your posts!

Thanks Geoff for a simply lovely treat for the afternoon! What tea would you pair with it? I actually have a Chocolate Hazelnut Tea I could use with it, but it might be too much of the same favors? I'm thinking even a light white wine too? I welcome your suggestions…!

Hi Texas Maverick, thanks very much for your comment. I actually usually drink just one type of tea, which is similar to English Breakfast Tea, using tea from ceylon(Sri Lanka), Kenyan and India. This is a black tea and I love it. Of course, as with all black tea the flavour will only come through if the water is boiling when added. In many places I have visited they make tea with water that is not boiling. Worst of all is in a restaurant where they deliver a mug of water and a tea bag on the side. That way there is no possibility of getting the full and proper flavour. I also have a selection of David's Tea from Canada which I love, and I think one in particular, which is Matcha Tea, a green tea would be perfect to go with Tiffin. The water does have to be boiling for green tea to properly infuse. I also think that some iced tea would be good, but not the ones bought in bottles in the supermarkets, they are usually rather too sweet for my taste. Wine might be good too, though I am not a great wine drinker myself.

Hi Patricia, Maple syrup will work fine, not so sure about honey. Of course, if you have the time you can actually make your own golden syrup, here is a video of Steve doing it. Even if you don't want to make it you can enjoy his jazzy chef's jacket. kzitem.info/news/bejne/kYqtmYytf6V6qJw

Oh thanking you Geoff,I never thought about making it. Miss some of the products I can't find here. I shall give it a try perhaps not today as I want to make this for my little grandaughter who is coming over and so for the moment I shall just have to use the maple syrup. I am going to put some maltesers and marshmallows and digestive biscuits. . Thanking you Geoff you saved the day. XXX
