We love Lidia! We use her recipes often❤❤. And we're so fortunate to live near her restaurant and love it! Love her show on PBS too. Her family's story is so heart warming. Her story of how she started her business and personal beliefs are inspiring.

Many years ago I used to work in her restaurant Becco and occasionally I’d be hanging out in the second floor kitchen where all the desserts were made. Whenever the Chocolate Zabaglione cake was made, I’d take a coffee mug and dip it into the giant bowl of chocolate that was being cooled. I’d then find a quiet place to sit and enjoy myself😊

I make Zagbaglione using Kahluha instead of Marsala, served with a bitter chocolate savoiardi on the side.

When I was very young we often see Zabaglione on restaurants menus , but these days no one knows what you’re talking about, I think this desert is lost in time 😩😩😩😩.
