I dedicate this cover to my mum, Linda. She is a hugely inspirational and intelligent person. I love and respect her greatly.
I chose this song because she loved hearing me play this tune on the piano, and a few years ago she said "When I first heard you play prelude in E minor, it was the first time I knew you had a soul" haha I must have been a soulless devil child before that.
I love you mum
(That was difficult, as I am sincerity malabsorbent)
Chopin, you are incredible.
P.S. This song was such a difficult birth on the Melolele (and I think the child is slightly deformed, but it will suffice) It took me an embarrassing number of hours to voice and arrange the chords on the Bari Uke.
P.P.S. Entirely recorded, and mostly filmed in Cappadocia Turkey, in an 11th century Rabbit Church that is carved out of the side of the surreal rocky landscape of the area. It had quite nice acoustics (I didn't add any artificial reverb) It was also partially filmed in Istanbul.
Song is Prelude in E minor op 28 no 4 by Frederick Chopin. You should learn it!
