So my friend used to say “Pain is temporary, glory is forever, and chicks dig scars.” I was never offended by that term. Also in honor of Mr. Joe Diffie I think you should review Ships That Don’t Come In

I was waiting tables, had a wreck on my way to work. Called my boss to let her know and for her to let my then fiance know. He was at my job to get breakfast before he had to leave for some army training. He was driving fast to get to me. He had a nice 78 ford with a lift. He hit a ditch, messed up his truck but he got to me. Made me love him even more. He stayed beside me while I was getting stitched up. Fussed at the doctor bc when he was making a knot in the stitch, the needle was going right towards my eye. Wish he would have stayed like that. Things change though. I don't like for men to purposely be wreckless to prove something. Seen Chris Cagle in concert twice. Good performances

Nice, I always liked Chris Cagle. I don't mind being called a chick - actually my sister and I and bunch of our friends call each other that. It's far, far better than "girlie" - when I first started working, our senior surveyor used to call me girlie (no matter how many times I told him my name).. so I started calling him "boyo". Within a few months, he managed to remember my name and the girlie and boyo thing became a sort of running joke.
