Not only that, but the further "proof" that his muscular body is unedited is the fact that the woman character standing in front of him touched his chest: it wasn't part of the script, but the actress (Hayley Atwell) just couldn't resist it :)

Although it is possible to make someone look beefed up with CGI, the cost and time constraints make this virtually impossible for the majority of shots/scenes (unless the studio is trying to go bankrupt). This is why they only invested in making him look skinny in the first act of the film, as those scenes are very limited and use a lot of things like static and closeup shots (with only some wide/active shots). CGI work (especially the top-tier/believable kind) in film is far more expensive than the average person thinks.

Great video, very informative. Derek, you should do a video called “What You Would Need To Take To Possibly Be a Good Pro”. Where you go over hypothetical dosages, and how someone with average genetics would need to utilize each compound, calories, etc. For example, we all know guys like Eric Kanevsky take grams of test and a lot of GH. But if you were to go over a hypothetical cycle that’s less dose dependent, it would be pretty cool and would definitely get some views, lol.

Go check out his video reviews of the documentaries with Lee priest and other pros outlining their cycles. Paul dillet talks about his calories I believe or Chris cormier. None of their cycles hold a candle to the trash can of bullshit kanevsky is dosing. Genetics is King in physique. Insertions, training response, anabolic response, etc.

Rockman Lifts Well, that’s the thing. If your genetics suck, and you want to at least attempt to be a pro, knowing you won’t be one, all you can do is take grams of test and lots of GH. That’s what I’m trying to say.

There's no "beefing up with CGI" in these movies. The skinny Chris Evans is a completely different person, they're using VFX to put Chris's head on the smaller actor's body. The most you'll see Hollywood do is some spot contrast on abs to give them more definition, but even that is rare. Another thing most don't realize: The "money shots" in these movies (like when Evans comes out of the machine) are shot after the actor has gotten a good pump on. Some actors won't eat or drink for 24 hours before the shot as well.

idk man definitely looks bigger to me in the first avenger than he did earlier in his career. fatter maybe but definitely looks like he built some lean mass. not sure if just bad lighting but i don't think he's 15% bodyfat coming out of the transformation vat in the first captain america movie, i'd guess more like 12-14% but you could be right, plus there could be digital enhancement there. he just looks a hell of a lot skinnier in fantastic four and other films, he's got good genes and leanness to boot but i wouldn't call him "jacked." in captain america however he does look pretty jacked in my opinion, maybe it's fluff but it certainly isn't all fat. honestly wouldn't be surprised if he cruised on a tiny bit of test and packed on a little water weight hence the lack of definition but he definitely filled out as far as i can tell. could very well be natural. good video though. i'm sure you've already done a chris hemsworth video but would you speculate that his transformation was natty? chris evans i might give a natty pass to, but im pretty sure hemsworth used juice.
