Oh he knew...that's why he always gave 150% of himself (sometimes injuring himself in the process). He broke several ribs doing pratfalls through tables, off bar stools, etc... He would always pick up the entire bar tab whatever club he walked in. Read his biography....excellent

He did, but the problem was that people loved him as the loud, fat, clumsy guy. He liked being seen as funny but hated that his image was that of a fool. He also worried that if he didn't play that guy in public, people wouldn't like him anymore.

Poor man was so incredibly uncomfortable in his own skin. Everyone thought he was so funny and me included. It just breaks my heart to see him like this knowing within eleven months he would be dead. Such an amazing man with so many who loved and adored him. Such a shame drugs and alcohol cut his life so short. He was so funny but in this interview you can see the internal pain he suffered from. RIP Chris Farley. You are still missed to this day. 03/17/22.

This is so painful to watch. Chris Farley was such a great, natural comedian and full of joy and kindness to others. But he had completely blown his heart out with drugs and alcohol. His cardiac vessels were filled with plague and he had massive athlerosclorosis. That's what killed him when he od'ed. Poor guy. On this show he looks ready to explode. He couldn't breathe. He undoubtedly really DID have chest pain! Excruciating to watch him trying to get his breath. What a tragedy.

Jay Leno tried hard to save Chris from himself, yet Jay could not convince Chris that he really cared about him. Chris almost reminds me of how I was during my teenage years...why I'm alive I not sure, but grace be to God, I am still going and have had the opportunity to see my kids grow up and make good lives for themselves. I miss Chris's humor so much, but it came at a serious price because he could not separate his crazy comedy from his wild lifestyle...you could always tell that Chris had a massive heart and was always ready to give a piece of it away to his fans and "friends".
