It is horrible knowing that the guy who was known for his voice, lost it, and as Jericho said "it is unfair irony". I met him a convention, where he signed my photo, the photo had him and Rick Rude in it, and yes Rick's signature is on their too, and just a heads up I'm not selling it, I'm going to frame up and put it up in my Living Room (my girlfriend ain't stopping me either). Even though he could barely speak, where you had to lean over so he could whisper in your ear, he said to "I've met many people who get my autograph and sell it, you've got a gold right there, me and Rick's signature together, make sure you wait till I die to sell it wont ya, it'll be worth more". An it goes to show, that he may have lost his voice, and suffered physically (all over) due to the cancer, but he at least never lost is humour. P.S. There was a Woman next to him, maybe his daughter, I'm not sure, she translated what he was saying bit by bit as I couldn't hear him properly, and she said to me later on (as I attended the after party) "you must have made a good impression in front of Bobby, as you were the only person today where he got out of his seat, leaned across the table to speak to you", and I have to say hearing that brought a tear to my eye (tear of joy).

+Stewie Motherfoker Griffin, I met him about 5 years ago, which I think is when he started doing conventions, and you could tell at the time, that even though he didn't have to be there (and I suppose in a way he shouldn't, due to his health) he was there mainly because he loved wrestling, an wrestling gets shit on a lot, but it really does help people in so many ways. After all it's how a met my girlfriend, it was at a WWE event (also about 5 years ago), we met at the T-Shirt stand, she said to me "you really like your shirts" (as I bought about 10 of them) and I was like "yeah", she then said "you also bought last CM Punk shirt they had, and I've been looking everywhere for that", I then said "I'll sell it you", which she bought, we then started talking about where we were sitting (which strangely was not too far away, about 3 rows), then started talking about what we do for a living, and we ended up exchanging numbers. That story ain't Bobby related, but it's proves my point that wrestling means a lot to a lot of people.

Blue Glass Productions NO offense, I don't care if you go broke and have to have a yard sale (God forbid it doesn't happen for real), make sure you NEVER sell that photo sir. That's a timeless gem you have and what a moment that must have been to and for you!!! The man himself took the time to still drop a little bit of that humor he's known for on you!!! He's gonna be truly missed FRFR!!!!!

Who the fuck asked you to write a book here and we don't care if your selling it or not, who wants a picture of Rude a cocaine addict who killed himself and left a wife and kids to fend for themselves.

+spectrumlocalb191, you can shit all over Rude when he is alive, but when he's dead have some respect, if he made your life worse in anyway than shit all over him, but I doubt he did. Learn from my mistakes, as I used to talk shit about anyone who would die from drugs, and I realised it did not go down well with the people, I learned my lesson the hard way when an old school friend of mine died, and I didn't even know he died, and the people who I pissed off now decided to piss me off (they didn't know the guy so they just called him an idiot and every name under the sun) it's very rare when I cry (especially in public), and during a visit to my Local Gym, I cried in-front of everyone, I was humiliated as well as upset. Take it from me, don't disrespect the dead (disrespect the living, but dead people can't make up for their mistakes or counter anything you say).

Blue Glass Productions You got a good autograph of the two. For me my highlight was getting to see Ric Flair wrestle Kerry Von Erich here in Okc at the Myriad and I got to see Andre The Giant wrestle Kamala the Ugandan Giant. 80’s wrestling was the best I am probably saying that because it was my childhood era.

Bobby will always be the best natural talker that the business has even seen, in my eyes, and Jericho (who is certainly no slouch with a mic, by any stretch) helps confirm that. Heenan was just so incredibly quick & had absolutely zero issues with him being the butt of so many jokes/bits. You'll forever me missed & remembered as a true great, Bobby.

He can't let it go which is weird cos i'd say a good 60% of his best wrestling matches were his WCW ones, not his WWF/WWE ones!

MSGBigBoss77 couldn't agree more, although I haven't watched wrestling in over 5,6 years. Jericho was awesome in WCW,great heel gimmick, music, promos, long title runs,I remember one run he had with the TV Title were he wrestled ever week and won. Memories of him screaming 'Help Me' and 'come on baby' so funny. I'm 36 so I'm glad I had the oppertunity to see WWF as a child then WCW Nitro & Raw is War as a young adult. As wrestling seemed to grow up with my generation. Nitro was a great pro wrestling show. History though is written by the victors. WWE won so WCW has become the most demonised and bitched about promotion ever. Sad. At my age I can't justify watching the WWE product now. Just check in every now and then to see who else has passed away. :( R.I.P. Brain. Thanks for the memories you funny bastard

being one of those old school fans that grew up in the 80s and 90s, i think its fair to say that there will never be two other individuals to come along like heenan and monsoon. and i mean both as the golden individuals they were as not only talents but also as great human beings. rip and god bless

Shut up! REGULAR GUY from the area of wrestling at its peak! Most of us would kill to relive those days again! Being older certainly doesn't mean decrepit or incapable. Unlike you spectrumlocalb191, he definitely isn't sad enough to thumb up his own comments and has people who recognize how true his comment are o.k. little man! So go stick to the B.S. they dare call wrestling today!

+REGULAR GUY I guess I'm old too then, been watching wrestling since I was 9 or so (1986)...I so looked forward to Monday night Prime Time with Bobby and Gorilla (and Roddy, later). I think I liked listening to them almost more than the wrestling! They were comedy gold; they really had something special, a magic that will never be duplicated. I wouldn't trade growing up during that time for anything. RIP Bobby, thanks for all the laughs.

I highly recommend watching anything and everything you can, from the 80s and up, about Bobby. There was never, in my eyes, a quicker witted person in the business & when a guy like Piper (who is a close 2nd for me) sung his praises (behind the scenes, after Keyfabe was gone), it only reassures what I knew.

Bobby was a complete master of the promo. I knew when The Brain opened his mouth, some fast wit and genuinely biting remarks were coming. Bobby could verbally SLAM with his words and also worked in a wink, usually by using the “ham and egger “ phrase.

For years...jericho has looked the same..only now is he beginning to show his age...man. Soon all of the last remaining remants of the attitude era will all be in there 50s. And what then? What part time superstars other than lesnar will wwe have to rely upon for big business because havent bothered to build up anyone else to cena status. They will be fucked because they havent made any other top guys other than cena. Everyone else. They are miles below him. Even reigns. If reigns was the draw wwe pushes him as, why are raw shows getting half empty arenas?
