Chris Lewis is a leader in the Squamish First Nation and one of the founding members of MST Development Corporation(Musqueam, Squamish, TsleilWatulth). He is in his 3rd 4-year term on the Squamish Council and is involved in several community initiatives. He graduated from Simon Fraser University and 10 years later joined the SFU Board of Directors, becoming Chair. Chris Lewis's ancestors lived on Senakw and were barged to North Vancouver while their home burned.
David Negrin led development for Concord Pacific, helping to build whole communities on North False Creek. He then took a lead role in Aquilini Developments before taking on MST Development.
The Urban Lunches are created in the lead up to the Alain Bertaud Public Salon September 20 where Alain will be on the Big Screen engaging with 6 Vancouver urbanists. Alain is an Urban Planner and author of the internationally acclaimed book "Order Without Design: How Markets Shape Cities”, This event will be held to promote and prepare for the visit of Alain in 2022. He is working to see that urban planners and urban economists work closer together to make more dynamic and affordable cities.
