Also, keep in mind that when you see an actor's body in a movie, the lighting is always perfect, and then there's post-production to enhance it even more. I work out six days a week with a push pull program and eat 2400 calories a day of a healthy high protein style diet. If the weight loss stalls or lags I add in three sessions of cardio per week. When I'm done given the right nutrition and water in take i look just as good as chris patt in guardians of the galaxy. All this said it's a 5 month commitment. No alcohol. My body is basically sore for 5 months. Legs, back, arms, shoulders, chest, abs, sore for 5 months. That's what it takes to go from fat to pratt. I'm in my 4th cycle of doing this. I am 6'2 270, and had visible abs at 245. So it is very attainable. Some people really are denser in their bones and just weigh more. But we tear all our ligaments instead. It's a tradeoff

Looks like a regular guy in shape to me. Once you figure out the food, working out will really show. Different kind of workouts will get you different kinds of results. Not just beach bodies. Great channel by the way.

Yeah he doesn't use gear. He knows how to cut and build muscle. The dude was a collegiate level wrestler.

Hey Derek, wanted your opinion on something, kinda relates to this video As a redhead i find it very easy to gain muscle, i eat a shitty diet and i always look muscular, i haven't hit the gym in a year and a half and ive maintained muscle, do you think redheads can build muscle easier? Thanks

You being a redhead is irrelevant. Relevant questions: 1: what is your caloric intake? 2: how many years have you maintained this caloric baseline? 3: you being a redhead has no scientific significance on the subject you're questioning.

Some gear may have been involved be he stopped drinking six beers a day that alone is huge. My biggest transformation was when I went from doing EVERYTHING wrong (beer/pizza diet, no exercise) and just fixing my diet and moderate exercise. With hard training I could see him doing it fairly clean.

I don't think anything about his physique is unattainable. He doesn't look like he put on much mass, just maintained what he had while losing body fat.

I honestly dont blame most actors for not wanting to workout after a role because of how restrictive and fucked their diet and training protocols are just to get in shape in such a short amount of time , what they dont realize is you honestly dont have to train that hard to maintain a decent body comp and it makes it far far easier there after to peak rather than going from 0 to 100

He appears to have really favourable genetics. You can see even when he was overweight - his chest wasn’t overly fat! ... he seems to carry a shitload in his midsection!! I agree looks natty and obviously got his shit together ... great Vid D 🤟
