Chris Sale doesn’t need 98-100mph to dominate, as long as his slider is working and he has control with his fastball hitters can’t touch him.

Sale needs that 97 MPH difference between this year and years past: 3 mph in average fastball velo. He is riding at 92, and topping at 97. He used to ride 96 and top 100

I just hope CS didn’t permanently injure his arm going beast mode in the playoffs. It seemed like his shoulder was bothering him and he just pitched thru it and after that he stopped hitting 100mph on the gun. It kind of reminds me of When Pedro pitched hurt against the Indians in the playoffs in 99 and after that he was never quite the same
