I think that's why he doesn't play the guitar much, trying not to step in anyone else's territory (because he is always a gentleman on stage, so respectful to other musicians!) Chris has lived that. I don't think anyone could do that without some hard knocks in life. And he had plenty. Just happy a talent like him made it. Now we are all blessed. Marcus King opened for Chris Stapleton when I saw him in concert in September. I hadn't heard of Marcus before, but I was super impressed and thought he was a perfect fit for that tour! Loved his voice ... similar style to Chris. I concur with that recommendation, for sure! 😁
