I like Chris Tomlin's music but as for Christmas, it has nothing to do with Jesus. Anyone that has read the chapters of Luke or the Bible itself and used a Hebrew calendar, even in KJV text translated by the Masoretes or the Textos Receptus and even the Pentateuch, there's nowhere found that states or supports Jesus' birth in December. When you trace the Priesthood, specifically Zachariah's course of Abijah, John the Baptist is born in our month of March and Mary is 3 months into her pregnancy with Jesus when John is born, placing Jesus' birth 6 months later.

+Luke Quintal It's not even about that, but a time of reflection of who the gift of the messiah.

Chris Kelly That's not true lol. When you think of Christmas, the idea is that, that's when Jesus was born but that's far from accurate. Even Corinthians teaches to commemorate the death, not the birth.

It's pretty common knowledge that he wasn't born in the winter. It doesn't say not to commemorate his birth LOL? Even the wisemen brought gifts to celebrate his birth. Why can't we as believers? Ya you just sound like one of those Christians that just has to make a theological debate out of nonsense. Just chill out.

Chris Kelly Yea, Jesus' birth because He was actually born, they didn't continue to celebrate the date of His birth. That's what you're doing on Christmas, continuously celebrating His birth on December 25th. The Lord's Supper is a commemoration of His death, not His birth.

+Luke Quintal and do you, your family and friends celebrate your birthday every year? I bet you do, unless you're Jehovah's Witness. There's nothing wrong with celebrating the birth of someone you love. Especially that of the savior of the world.
