Merci beaucoup pour votre partage. Je ne peins plus mais heureuse de suivre les différentes étapes. Belle réalisation. Ça parait simple et pourtant il y à derrière des heures de travail. Un agréable moment de détente. Belle soirée

Hardware : Oil painting: Christian Arnould prefers the Rembrandt and Sennelier brand for certain colors. On his palette we find his favorite colors: Titanium White - Cadmium Yellow - Yellow Ochre - Burnt Sienna - Burnt Umber - Vermilion Red - Magenta - Sennelier's Olive Green - Primary Blue and Dark Ultramarine Blue. The brushes : They are flat with long hairs pig bristle, the artist likes to use the Oléo brushes from Raphaël. The mediums : A Venetian medium strongly diluted with rectified turpentine. The supports: linen canvas on stretcher or on paper in the studio: "These are works that I consider as exercises - experiments to progress. It is less important to paint on paper, I use Figueras from Canson. Although I try to have the same detachment when I paint on canvas. » Christian Arnould always starts with a first pass (thinly diluted with petrol) to cover the entire support. "I resonate in terms of mass. I wrinkle my eyes to evacuate the parasitic details. Thus, I come back with a second passage more impastoed by working on the right colors and the right values. I prefer a reading from afar. The subject must be understood at first glance: legibility, harmony of colors and strength in writing (the touch - the brushed). »
