the biggest thing i ever did for my faith as a christian, was pray that God would encourage me and give me desire to read his word. He needed to do some serious work on my mind! I encourage anyone else that struggles with that, it shouldnt just be on your to do list, you should want to. Sometimes it is just going to be a discipline, because we are called not to be ruled by our emotions, but majority of the time you should crave it! Since being in his word everyday, my whole life has changed. I am such a better mom and wife. Days I miss out on my reading, or don't read until bed, it shows. My patience and kindness is lacking, my flesh gets the better of me. Sometimes its a struggle to open it up, because "Id rather be doing something else" but i have never once, regretted taking time for Jesus. I can assure you I have regretted not reading though. God is so good. I am so glad he gave me a second shot and he renewed my faith through his word.

You said it perfectly, and im not a morning person but my husband will be home from work shortly it will be nice to make him breakfast without being groggy. I prayed about it and God has woken me up at 5am even though my alarm set for 6:20a. I took care of my animals then myself, opened the bible right before my alarm went off. Im crying so happy. I truly appreciate you i know we all here do

The great thing about homeschooling is the fluidity of the schedule. We homeschooled year round, 4 days a week with 14 straight days off quarterly and we schooled Monday-Thursdays because Fridays was meal planning/grocery shopping/prepping/all the food to cook from Saturday-Thursday (Fridays meals were take out or dining out), deeper cleaning and all the laundry done and put away so Saturday and Sunday were family/church time as dad had the weekends off or if it was a 3 day weekend for dad, we may go camping or something like that.

This video is exactly what I needed today! I'm a mom of five. We don't homeschool our kids, but I am a stay at home mom. It is so true that it's hard to put myself as a priority. Between my husband, the kids, church and everything going on in life to remember myself. But I am definitely in a season where I'm realizing that I have to take care of me to be able to take care of others. I resonate with this video so much. I am going to take your advice and RESET. Thank you! 😊

I am a stay at home, homeschooling Christian mom, too. I have also been blessed with 9 beautiful blessings 🙏. I grew up devoutly Evangelical, but my oldest child, 16, and only son, went through a spiritual journey during Covid lockdowns, saying either God is true or not. He emerged devoutly Catholic, and has embraced the TLM fervently. It has been quite a struggle personally, as my parents both were born Catholic, but later embraced protestant Christianity. My heart is broken, as I now understand the folly of that. I am in the beginning process of becoming confirmed Catholic, and you have been such an inspiration. My husband became very devoutly Muslim in the second year of our nearly 18 year marriage. It has been so sad and challenging to see that, but your story, anc so many others gives me so much hope for his sincere conversion. 🙏 I have been watching your videos for about 3 years, and I am so excited to share your journey and know the amazing testimony God is giving you! Thank you for your willingness to share your faith so generously, it has really been encouraging and challenging for me. God bless you and your beautiful family 💗

I can totally relate to giving up your plans. Just had my third post partum heart attack a week ago (and then my one year old dislocated my knee) I too live in my dream home and had so many plans for making our home peaceful but I feel so completely useless right now. I have friends making meals, doing laundry, watching kids, running errands and husband is doing ALL THE THINGS right now. Everytime I have a heart attack my community has to stop what they are doing to take care of my large family of 11. I feel like everytime Im close to making progress I get blind sided. I'm trying so hard to lean into what Gods giving me to work with right now but it's so different than what I had planned. I have so many projects I want to get done and homeschool goals to work towards but I cant even take care of myself right now.
