Me too! What a show that was. I couldn't believe I was seeing Richard Burton live, in person. I still remember how when he looked straight up into the stage lights, his eyes were the most amazing shade of green. So long ago, now. RIP Richard.

She was terrific in a small part in "Amadeus." She didn't become as famous as her talent merits.

Not in film/TV, I suppose, but she's a 2-time Tony winner, with a number of solo albums to her credit too.

Also saw her in Oklahoma! at the Palace Theatre with Christine Andreas , Laurence Guittard, Harry Groener, Martin Vidnovic about 3 or 4 months before..lol Front Row! Ticket wS about 15.00 - but got it at TKTS - 25.00 ticket Lolol She was awesome- as was Andreas!

@@njatty Yes she was!!!!! I sat front row center just off the aisle, and lost my Fraternity Pin off my sportcoat- went back in after the house was empty and Found it! Lol I think I actually still have Playbill. .......I went to High School with Christine Andreas, and was in South Pacific when she played Nellie

@@njatty Ok....Dug it out....lol I saw it May 31, 1980 Row A Seat 106 25.00 ticket price - 13.50 at TKTS Guittard had left by then apparently...lol...and Joel Higgins played Curley They included Ali's song - It's a Scandal, and Jud's - Lonely Room ....they also had a Singing Chorus of 11 and a Dancing Chorus of 16 ......got autographs from Joel Higgins and Harry Groener --- I remember thinking Harry was Soo Handsome 😊😊😊😊😊

She was close to being the governor of Washington! If it weren't for Mike Donnelly, she may have. Al Donnelly was the better choice.
