It's wintertime Down Under, but our spirits are bright as we enjoy our annual Christmas in July festivities at the Danthonia Bruderhof community. You're welcome to join us - no Grinches allowed!
Christmas in July is a fun, impromptu holiday many Australians celebrate, along with folk of goodwill around the world. After all, many Australians have a connection to places where Christmas falls at the coldest time of year. So a Christmas in July celebration (or in June, if you like the idea of 'six months to Christmas') carries a little nostalgia.
But as Norann -- and Scrooge -- remind us, we can (and should) honor Christmas in our hearts and try to keep it all the year.
About us: We're the parents of three sons and live at Danthonia Bruderhof, a Christian community in northern New South Wales, Australia, and enjoy discussing our faith, family, food (Norann's an awesome cook!), and the day-to-day adventures of life in "the bush".
