@@davidtheriot3205 I hated that cashier he could have been nicer and supportive he didn't even say sorry. He could have said I'm very sorry you don't have enough money do you have anyone you know who can help you. He could have said that at least. I would have helped him I'm that kind of person who would help him. And even if he said I'll pay you back to me. I would have said you don't have to pay me back. If I were in this store scenario, I say to the heartless cashier. "For goodness sake cashier, this boy's mom is dying. Have you no heart? Give the boy a break for once." But I wouldn't do anything physically violent to the cashier.

Yeah he's very rude. He could have at least said I'm very sorry you don't have enough money is there anyone you know who could help you? I'm truly sorry about your mom. that's what a cashier would say I cashier with a good heart. I would have said give the little boy break he's just a little kid trying to help his mother that's dying who's very sick. I would have stood up to the cashier.

This movie is terrible filmmaking. It's incoherent and has so many plot flaws. How does everyone in rob Lowes family know who this kid is including his mother and he doesn't? What disease did a woman in her 30's have that deteriorated her heart so quick? The acting is horrible and the story sucks. This scene was funny as hell cause the clerk was such an asshole to the kid with the "did I stutter?". Evangelicals can't produce anything of value except beg for donations.

Here's what I imagine I would have done and said if I were in the position Rob Lowe was in at the store. In spite of really wanting to complain to the clerk about how rude he was to that poor little boy, I would have smiled and said, "I know you are probably very tired and stressed and anxious to get through the rest of the day, but could you please let me have a minute? I won't be long. I just want to see what's bothering this little boy. I can tell he's upset." Next, I would have asked the little boy what was wrong. As soon as he told me, I would give him a big hug, offer my condolences, and say I'd help him pay for the shoes.

Me too. And he wouldn't have to pay me back if he said I will pay you back I promise to me. I would have said no you don't have to pay me back. I'm just going to pay those shoes for you and just give them to you. I'm actually that kind of a person who would actually help someone. Especially a little kid. in fact on this day I want to help someone like that little boy I really do want to help someone. That guy cashier was rude . I would have said to him. Look I get you you were probably having a long stressful day but it doesn't give you right to be rude to this little boy his mother is dying for crying out loud have a good heart show support to this little boy. That's what I would say. If I was a cashier I would have said I'm very sorry about your mother I'm sorry you don't have enough money 😔 is there anyone who can help you
